How You Can Help
Dear Friends, Your help is needed at the 2009-2010 Rose Parade Ministry. We need 200 plus people that are willing to come and help us minister to the groups of people that will be camped out along the parade route. Our goal for this ministry is to equip individuals and churches to be able to go back to their communities with a renewed spirit of evangelism, to reach the lost for Christ where they live and work. We are planning the Rose Parade street ministry starting the noon on Dec. 31st until Jan 1st till 8 am. MOST OF THE MINISTRY EVENTS WILL BE BETWEEN 1 TO 11 PM - DEC. 31st If you or your group can work for a few hours or the whole time please come. If possible can you please let us know that you are coming ASAP so that we can logistically plan for your parking accomodations. Please go to the participation form and fill out the form to let us know you are coming. We will be doing many types of street ministry again this year, plus much more. The more people that come and help, the more ministries we will be able to do and the more people we will be able to reach for Christ. If you have any ideals for street ministry let's talk about them. In previous years we have done the What’s In A Name Certificates, Clowning/Ballooning, Prayer Walking, Face Painting, Balloon-Dart Contest, Mime Teams and a Pop Corn Booth. We might be doing the Master Life Evangelism booth as well if we can get a team to host it this year. If you don’t know what you can do please come, we will do training in the afternoon of Dec. 31st to equip people in areas of ministry that they would like to be apart of. If you have never done anything like this, God still has a place for you to serve. The Mimes will be returning again this year; they are always loved by the people who are on the streets. And people get saved every year at their performances. We are going to pass out of 20,000 Rose Parade Order Brochures with the plan of Salvation on them. You are now able to view the brochure. Please pass the word on to others about this ministry and ask them to come with you. As for housing, the church parking lot that we use as a base camp will be where most people will camp out. If you would like to bring a motor home, car or truck please let us know and ASAP, so that we can plan the layout of the parking lot so we can get everyone in. Please go to then participation form.
